Volunteers return to the Hanoi Care Centre for People with Disabilities
The day of return — a journey of sharing love
On their return to the Hanoi Care Centre for People with Disabilities, the volunteers went room by room to visit the children, the people with disabilities and the elderly residents living alone who are cared for there. They brought practical supplies including milk, hygiene products, sweets, clothing, sleeping mats, storage cabinets and heaters ready for winter.
Beyond the material support, the conversations, the held hands and the sincere words of encouragement offered precious comfort of their own. The visit continued a long-standing bond and carried the message that compassion and human kindness multiply whenever people are willing to share.
