One hundred bookcases for highland children
About the campaign
The campaign aims to build and deliver 100 bookcases, together with age-appropriate books, to children at kindergartens, primary schools and other places where access to knowledge is limited. Alongside the books, the programme gives notebooks, school supplies and practical gifts to help the children prepare better for the new school year.
By creating welcoming reading corners, the campaign hopes to encourage reading habits, nurture curiosity and widen access to knowledge for highland children. The volunteer team also visits and surveys families in particular hardship in order to design suitable scholarship support, helping the children stay in school and move step by step towards their dreams.
Who benefits
Children at Yen Hop Kindergarten, Dai Son Kindergarten, Quang Phuc pagoda and the highland satellite schools in the project.

Results after the campaign
Bookcases have been delivered in Yen Hop and Dai Son; books, notebooks and supplies were given at Quang Phuc pagoda; and children needing scholarships have been surveyed. The campaign continues towards its goal of 100 bookcases.
