A journey of sharing at the Hanoi Care Centre for People with Disabilities

About the campaign

The campaign set out to support and improve daily life for the children, people with disabilities and elderly residents living alone who are cared for at the Hanoi Care Centre for People with Disabilities. The volunteer team brought practical items such as milk, hygiene products, sweets, clothing, sleeping mats, storage cabinets and heaters to meet part of the centre's needs as winter approached.

The programme went beyond material support: time was set aside to visit, talk with and encourage each resident in person. Through this journey the Fund hopes to keep a lasting bond with the centre while spreading empathy, a spirit of sharing and a sense of community responsibility towards those who need attention.
